About The Position

El Dorado Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a safety conscious Traffic Director to join our team in Placerville, CA! This position will also be working part of the time on our sorting line. The schedule will be Thursday - Sunday, 7AM-5:30PM. Starting pay will be $21 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $20-$21.50/hour.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position.
• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience operating equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift.
• Ability to stand throughout entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Spotting and helping to direct customers and work trucks to appropriate dump sites.
• Traffic management - moving signs and cones.
• Trained in the Gatehouse on money handling and data entry.
• On the sorting line ensuring appropriate material is going into the baler.
• Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing.
• General site cleanup as needed.
• Friendly customer service.
• Other laborer/MRF duties as needed.
