About The Position
Wallace Montgomery is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our Newark or Dover, Delaware office. In this role, you will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering traffic and transpiration solutions for projects in Delaware with DelDot and other local municipalities.
Requirements
- Professional Engineering License (Preferably in Delaware)
- Prior DelDot experience
- 5-7 years civil engineering experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and support traffic engineering tasks including traffic studies, signal design, and traffic control plans.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop transportation solutions
- Utilize traffic engineering software such as MicroStation to model and analyze traffic operations.
- Support the development of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for traffic-related infrastructure.
- Mentor junior traffic engineers and contribute to quality control and assurance processes.
