Requirements

• 2+ years previous experience in an outdoor labor setting, i.e., Traffic Control, Landscaping, Manufacturing, Construction, Utilities, Military, or Skilled Operator
• 1+ Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA Certificate or related field
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience or comparable driving experience(TMA, Box Truck, construction hauling etc.)
• Valid state driver's license
• Steel Toed or Composite Toed Boots
• Comfortable standing 8-12 hours a day
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Accustomed to working in all types of weather, and in traffic.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including a drug test.

Nice To Haves

• TCT/TCS Certification preferred
• Able to Read and Interpret Blueprints preferred
• OSHA 10/OSHA 30 a plus
• Familiarity with a client-based schedule

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, and carrying out traffic control operations
• Communicate with your crew to keep everyone safe.
• Set up, Maintain, and remove traffic control devices, while monitoring work zones to ensure safe traffic flow and proper placement of lane closures
• Inspect work zone to confirm proper placement of signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices to comply with state regulations
• Providing outstanding service and protection to customers
• Protect the company’s employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices.
• Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging.
