The Traffic Control Supervisor oversees operations related to traffic control including road and highway construction projects. The Traffic Control Supervisor is responsible for setting up and maintaining temporary traffic control in work zones. Their duties include using traffic control devices to divert drivers and pedestrians, monitoring road repairs, and supervising teams as they install equipment. Oversee traffic flow and ensure safety at construction sites. This is a DOT-related position and will be subject to the FMCSA regulations. The primary duty of the Traffic Control Supervisor is to coordinate and inspect traffic control set-ups for conformance with approved traffic control plans, MUTCD guidelines and local entity requirements. Must have current TCS Certificate and must be willing to travel (Per Diem will be paid).
