Traffic Safety Services, Inc., is seeking a dependable and safety-focus Traffic Control Laborer to support our flagging teams through proper setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices. When working in the shop, the pay range is between $18.00 to $20.00 an hour.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license, CDL is a plus.
  • Clean driving record is required.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Must have a reliable communication method in order to receive work schedule.
  • Must have basic math skills, including the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must conduct yourself in a manner promoting a professional atmosphere by being a team player, self-motivated, organized, and having a positive attitude.
  • Must have good oral and/or written English communication skills.
  • Work week varies - overtime is required when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating a forklift, skid-steer, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites in a safe manner.
  • Responsible for following all safety rules and regulations.
  • Deliver, set up, tear down, pick up, and maintain traffic control devices.
  • Assist any/or all departments to ensure the timely completion of jobs and projects.
  • Maintain a clean shop and yard.
  • Operate motor vehicles, hook up trailers, and back up trailers.
  • Wash, clean, inspect, maintain, fuel, and stock trucks, equipment, and vehicles assigned to jobs.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
  • Independently load, securely tie down, transport, and unload trucks, trailers, and equipment.
  • Safely lift, carry, and stack traffic control devices and other job-related materials as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.
