About The Position

Road Runner Safety Services Inc. is seeking a dependable, motivated Traffic Control Apprentice to join our team in St. Louis, MO. While we provide training, we strongly prefer candidates with prior traffic control or field/construction experience. This role requires someone who can work independently, confidently handle responsibilities in the field, and collaborate effectively with a team. Requirements

• Valid MO Class D driver’s license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass an MVR check, background check, and pre-employment drug test
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Dependability, self-motivation, and a strong commitment to safety

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in traffic control and familiarity with basic work zone safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices to ensure safe work zones
• Apply MUTCD standards and company safety procedures
• Complete accurate service reports and required documentation
• Safely operate and drive company vehicles to and from job sites
• Support operations at nearby locations when needed
• Fabricate and assemble traffic control signs
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and minor repairs on company equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Identify and communicate customer needs to assist with sales opportunities
• Work independently and with team members to complete assignments efficiently
