About The Position
The position involves compiling and maintaining records of inbound and outbound shipments, planning and directing driver assignments, and serving as the first point of contact for delivery drivers. Responsibilities include receiving, counting, and logging cash received by carriers, coordinating with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and timely, verifying and counting products to confirm data accuracy in the system, notifying carriers and key team members of pending, no shows, and/or unscheduled arrivals, engaging with drivers to reschedule appointments if necessary, and entering data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.
