About The Position

We’re hiring a dependable, adaptable Traffic Clerk to support operations across multiple departments in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone ready to grow into a Supervisor within ~18 months. The Traffic Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by serving as the primary point of contact for drivers, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring accurate data entry within the WMS. This role requires flexibility to assist across multiple departments, including equipment operation, while gaining exposure to all areas of the business in preparation for future leadership opportunities.

Requirements

• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook)
• WMS and/or ERP experience
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly
• Strong work ethic with leadership potential
• Must be able to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning or manually inputting pallet identification numbers
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for delivery drivers
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure accurate, timely shipping/receiving
• Manage Yard Management System to ensure location accuracy of trailers and drive efficiencies in the yard
• Record and manage data within the Warehouse Management System and othersupporting warehouse systems
• Track and communicate pending, no-shows, and unscheduled arrivals
• Reschedule driver appointments as needed
• Accurately record accessorial charges for carrier and customer billing
• Support the operation in all areas outside of traffic including operating material handling equipment
• Gain exposure to all functional areas to support leadership development
