This position will be responsible for assisting with day to day parking operations and traffic management for Greektown Casino Hotel.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
  • Understand and comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues
  • Learn specific job duties and complete work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
  • Ability to work and make decisions under stressful conditions
  • Must provide superior guest service

Responsibilities

  • Direct inbound and outbound traffic
  • Change and move signage as directed
  • Cone off and open parking spaces/levels as directed
  • Walk garage levels and report hazards, maintenance issues; suspicious activity to various teams
  • Physically count occupied and un-occupied parking spaces
  • Communicate parking policy to patrons
  • Provides the highest level of guest service
  • Train new team members (Traffic & Booth Attendants only)
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property and promotions
  • Provides guests with directions and information about Greektown District
  • May operate, and move guest vehicles if necessary
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property
  • Other duties as assigned
