Stauffer Glove & Safety is looking for a Traffic Associate to join our team in Red Hill, Pennsylvania. The objectives of a Traffic Associate typically revolve around supporting the traffic manager in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services through transportation channels. This role involves managing documentation and communicating with carriers and coordinating with other departments. Facilitating communication between the transportation team and others such as operations, customer service, and support. This ensures alignment and coordination across different functions within the organization. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Computer proficient and demonstrate experience working in a Microsoft office suite environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business related field
Two to three years working experience

Responsibilities

Manage transportation-related documentation, including bills of lading, and other paperwork necessary for the transportation of goods.
Provide support to customer service regarding transportation-related inquiries, such as tracking shipments, resolving delivery issues, and providing updates on delivery status.
Support data analysis efforts by compiling and analyzing transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in resolving transportation-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments, by coordinating with Traffic Manager.
Organize transportation such as scheduling shipments, arranging pickups, and deliveries.
