Negotiate and execute the purchases and sales of high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and other credit instruments via Bloomberg messenger, phone, or electronic platforms (Marketaxess, TradeWeb, Bloomberg ALLQ) Build and maintain relationships with the sell-side counterparties, including sales, trading, and research. Provide real-time market color, flow updates, and price moves to the portfolio managers. Develop a deep understanding each account’s unique investment guidelines and apply that knowledge during the trade execution and allocation process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests from different groups (Investment, Compliance, Client Service, Operations) simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-moving environment.
  • Basic understanding of credit fundamentals.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg AIM and electronic trading platforms is a plus.
