About The Position

The Trading Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting financial advisors by assisting them with portfolio management software and providing trade support during order entry. This position involves direct interaction with advisors and clients, ensuring compliance with policies while facilitating smooth trading operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with a solid foundation in finance or economics or related field with 2+ years' experience.
• Series 7 License (Required)
• Back-office operational experience, preferably in the financial/banking industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Professional demeanor in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to collaborate in a high-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Accepts orders from advisors and account holders.
• Assists advisors and their staff with navigating the trading platform and provides trade support when needed.
• Assists in Trade Error corrections when requested by advisors.
• Processes trading related service requests at the account level.
• Provides accurate and complete information to advisor and client inquiries while following compliance policies and procedures.
• Serves as a liaison between advisors and the clearing firm, fixed income desks, and vendors.
• Keeps records of advisor and client interactions.
• Participates in various company initiatives, such as testing and software roll outs.
