Trading Company - Retail Attendant - Part Time

About the position

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Retail Attendant at the Hualalai Trading Company who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Retail Attendants have the opportunity to shape our guest's experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide the guest with personal, gracious, and professional service, perceptive to their individual wants and needs.
• Have thorough knowledge of the merchandise and all menu items offered for sale at Trading Company.
• Translate this knowledge into creative upselling techniques to promote daily and monthly sales targets.
• Provide the Hualalai Trading Company Manager with feedback on guest response to our product line, thereby participating in the definition of our inventory mix, and preventing any out of stock occurrences.
• Participate in a bi-annual store inventory and do inventory audits.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

Requirements

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage.
• Three to twelve months of retail, stocking, or merchandising experience.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
• Weekend & Holiday availability required.
