In this role, you will be pivotal in planning and executing major conferences and events that enhance client engagement and support strategic business goals. You will manage the logistics, vendor relationships, and overall event delivery, ensuring that each gathering reflects brand values and meets audience needs. With your extensive experience in corporate event planning, you will handle multiple projects simultaneously while promoting effective communication across various teams. This role is essential for fortifying business ties and enhancing the company's market presence.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or Communications.
  • 10+ years of event planning experience, specifically with Tier 1 conferences and large client events.
  • Proven project management skills managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Experience negotiating with venues and event partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Asana, ClickUp).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying plans and expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and exhibit strong self-motivation.
  • Willingness to travel 4-9 times a year for events.
  • Physical capability to lift 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for assigned conferences and client events, including timelines, logistics, and vendor management.
  • Serve as the primary events partner for business lines, fostering relationships with sector leaders and sales teams.
  • Oversee Tier 1 client events and high-level internal meetings from concept to execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop event collateral that aligns with brand standards.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure quality while finding cost efficiencies.
  • Support Salesforce campaign tracking and reporting for event outcomes.
  • Onboard and train new team members on tools and best practices.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices through continuous learning.
