About The Position
Directly responsible to the Trades Manager for providing a safe and comfortable environment for residents & staff. Conduct general maintenance work for the carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical shops by repairing and maintaining properly functioning equipment. PMs and WP Repairs for Retherm Units and Ice Machines.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Experience in commercial: plumbing, carpentry, electrical fields.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing various types of plumbing, and electrical equipment and maintenance methods pertinent to the general building maintenance field.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
- Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling is helpful or the ability to acquire within 12 months.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a healthcare or long-term care facility.
