About The Position

Performs responsible skilled and supervisory work involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning and heating systems. Work performed requires considerable trade knowledge in the area of air-conditioning and heating systems. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Facility Operations Manager. Performance is reviewed through conferences, periodic inspections of work, and performance of systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and four (4) or more years experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair in heating and air-conditioning systems, some of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Florida Driver's License required.
• Master Level Competency Card in either electrical or plumbing trades or Class A Competency Card in the mechanical trade required.
