About The Position

The Trades Generalist position is a full-time role within the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. The position is contingent permanent and falls under the non-competitive class jurisdiction. The job is located at the Cayuga Correctional Facility in Moravia, NY. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a total of 40 hours per week. There is no travel required for this position, and flextime, mandatory overtime, compressed workweek, or telecommuting options are not available. Duties will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled tradesperson
• Equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades
• Valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated
