About The Position

CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team! Demonstrates a strong, needs-based sales and service focus as defined and measured in the Member Center and Corporate Balanced Scorecards and Business Plans. Determines financial needs using a high impact questioning strategy, educates, cross-sells, and services members/potential members on CEFCU/CEFCU Investment Services (CIS) products and services. Opens, transfers, and closes all types of consumer and business products and services. Performs all required functions for originating consumer loans, preparing loan documents, and closing consumer loans. Maintains knowledge of electronic delivery channels to assist members with servicing questions and problem resolution. Supports Marketing initiatives through planning, coordination, and measuring the success of promotions. Performs essential Cashier and Member Assistant duties and assists at reception desk. Maximizes developmental opportunities through lifelong learning. Practices and promotes quality in all job duties including form completion, documentation, security, and compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Demonstrates learning agility using functional and technical skills in assisting other positions and performing other tasks as assigned. Maintains a member oriented focus and professionally resolves member inquiries by assessing each member's financial needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registration (NMLS).
• Acquire and maintain proficiency in CEFCU mainframe applications and third party systems.
• Demonstrated relationship building, sales and servicing skills.
• Thorough knowledge of CEFCU products and services.
• Complete required training modules within specified timeframes.

• Thorough understanding of all MSR functions.
