About The Position

This is a contract-based opportunity for a career contractor with a focus in Trade Surveillance, involving a hybrid work schedule located in Midtown NYC. The role is crucial for ensuring compliance with appropriate rules, regulations, and firm policies by conducting daily surveillance and managing trade alerts.

Requirements

• Experience as a career contractor with a focus in Trade Surveillance
• Experience with trade surveillance systems
• Knowledge of appropriate rules, regulations, and firm policies for compliance
• Ability to perform research and investigations
• Ability to document research results and escalate violations and/or suspicious activity
• Ability to liaise with Information Technology and Senior Management

Responsibilities

• Clear trade alerts that have been backed up due to a change in trade surveillance systems
• Conduct daily surveillance to ensure compliance with appropriate rules, regulations, and firm policies
• Perform research and investigations to identify the reason for potential violations
• Document research results and escalate violations and/or suspicious activity according to firm policy and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with Information Technology and Senior Management in the development, review, and clearing of surveillance models
