Serves as primary sales, order processing, and customer service contact for assigned accounts. Implements strategic plans, policies, and procedures to grow David C Cook sales revenue to achieve annual sales objectives established by the Vice President, Sales and Service. Daily outbound calling to assigned accounts; provide customer service and follow up, as needed. Proactively present DCC resources to assigned accounts and service their needs for both frontlist and backlist. Grow business with assigned accounts by analyzing performance and recommending appropriate stock. Develop relationships of trust with assigned accounts that ensure satisfied customers. Execute sales and marketing plans, and strategies in collaboration with the VP of Trade Sales for all Learning Resource Group curriculum and resources for assigned accounts; implement all sales campaigns, programs, initiatives and efforts; execute sales plans and strategies for key marketing groups (Parable, Munce, Covenant, Innovative) in order to meet or surpass established annual sales goals and budgets. Utilize sales platforms to create sales reports and maintain information in databases. Work closely with internal personnel to understand overstock positions and available discounts; inventory management and obsolence. Coordinate promotions for new releases each span for assigned accounts. Work with accounting to set promotional offers for frontlist and backlist titles. Coordinate catalogue mailing and emailing of PDF version. Review/authorize return requests and curriculum credit requests. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
