About The Position

The Junto is a modern-day embodiment of Ben Franklin and his club of the same name. His “club for mutual improvement” brought together people from all backgrounds to discuss issues and ideas of the time while enjoying life. With an emphasis on public gathering spaces, our hotel gives visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists alike a place to come together, exchange ideas, and inspire one another. The Junto will be both a destination and a landmark of the area, helping to define and add value to the future of Columbus. This individual’s expertise goes beyond understanding of the menu. It dives deeper into a passion for food, the local culture, and human connection. This person creates a welcoming, warm environment that leaves guests with not only a great meal, but a new and inspired outlook on their surroundings.

Requirements

Ability to create relationships with guests and create guests for life
Good organizational skills
Ability to carry food and drink trays
6:30am availability
Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Responsibilities

Understanding and knowing beverage, specialty drink and wine options and be able to help guests
Understanding of Kitchen timing and staying organized and firing food in correct timetable
