As our Director, Trade Marketing – US Consumer Beauty (Sally Hansen) you are responsible for coordinating and facilitating the interactions between sales and marketing teams. This role will work to ensure sales and customer feedback are properly addressed in initiative planning. This position will develop and implement trade marketing efforts designed to support and enhance the brand positioning, drive revenue growth, customer awareness, customer acquisition, and help manage product positioning, brand identity, messaging, promotions and campaigns across brands. Your main focus: Ensuring proper execution of 4Ps across retailers Development of winning local customer/brand plans Drive the strategy between local brand marketing and customer development teams Develops and approves local trade marketing plans to ensure they are in line with the brand strategy and objectives as defined by the Local Marketing Team in terms of: Initiative prioritization Pricing Customer A&CP support + allocation between customers and initiatives Promotional strategy Provides feedback to Marketing for the development of local/ regional initiatives and monitor their progress Responsible for the development of all initiative plans to ensure that they meet the market needs (ie – commercial readiness) Pricing: issues price recommendations for all product initiatives for key markets Participates in brand reviews as the ‘voice of the customers’ providing input based on market needs Oversees the portfolio evolution, launches and discontinuations Defines customer priorities per initiative Develops and Executes local teams execution plans Develops sell in animation tools to trade Recommends Distribution strategy Recommends assortment strategy by channel Recommends pricing & promotional strategy Assesses and activates customization needs where relevant Develop central competitive pricing databases for all key competitors. Share with all brand teams Monitor the correct application in each customer Propose corrective promotional pricing strategy to respond to changing competitive environment Develop sell in animation tools to trade for all launches Oversee and approve key retailer plans (Win and Play to Grow customers) Support customer teams in key retailer presentations Co-approve target launch quantities for key launches at the start of NPD process defining internal benchmark Oversee forecasts per market on key initiatives and check evolution vs benchmark and target Quota allocation management in cases of restricted supply Inform DP team on major changes in distribution/price /promo with volume impacts Organize the flow of information: To sales & customer teams Feeds launch info to customer teams on time and in full for successful execution of the 4Ps Develops and coordinates marketing launch tools timelines for key initiatives so that delivery is monitored and is timely. Ensure needs are clearly communicated and performance of delivery is tracked (POS guidelines, adv copy, samples, merchandising guidelines, model shots, pack shots). Develops trade sell animation and presentation tools for all initiatives launch post evaluation on all major launches. To the Marketing team Needs gap analysis: coordinate and feedback customer needs to fine tune launch plans, and guide future NPD Ensures the development of the right support materials in line with brand strategy to animate local market needs Working for Coty means our people make us who we are.
