About The Position

Banco Sabadell is seeking a Trade Finance Specialist to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in international trade finance, Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections transactions
• Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field required
• Comprehensive knowledge of Latin American and emerging markets and familiar with international trade regulation and practices specifically ICC and UCP
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Eximbank and other ECA related credit facilities and corresponding loan documentation and processes
• Strong operational and financial management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage GTSC disbursements and loan repayments; co-ordinate with all related parties the necessary steps to ensure an efficient and accurate disbursement process.
• Ensure that all processes and Bank policies for GTSC disbursements are adhered to and all procedures are followed in a timely manner.
• Constant Interaction with internal and external Clients, CIB colleagues, Credit Administration, Agents, Agencies, Insurers, etc. to ensure strong customer service both internally and externally.
• Provide Loan Notifications to clients prior to maturity of the loans. For past due items, provide Past Due Loan Notification to clients periodically.
• Check and review shipping and other related documentation for disbursement processing.
• Prepare payment documents, including online premium report, for Credit approval, wire processing and booking of loan; Scan documents for e-filing, and prepare file for safe keeping until maturity.
• Continuous coordination and closely monitoring of the processes with internal and external parties, for GTSC loans, in order to build up the GTSC portfolio to projected goals.
• Preparation of periodic information reports for monitoring and management of the GTSC portfolio.
• Act as dual control/second review all the Exim and other ECAs disbursement package to ensure funding package comply with T&C of Exim/other ECAs Policy, and Bank Approval;
• Maintain and update manual Exim Bank/Other ECAs Disbursement Log and FI Disbursement Log
