About The Position

The Trade & Customs Global Lead at Nike will play a crucial role in shaping the global trade operating model and governance structure within the Supply Chain Operations team. This position focuses on driving compliance, managing risk, and fostering continuous improvement across global trade operations, while collaborating with key partners and functional executives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in global trade, customs compliance, or supply chain management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or project management role.
• Bachelor's degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Law, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and resolve conflicts.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support the governance of global trade and customs processes.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate projects to ensure alignment with organizational strategies.
• Facilitate project team meetings and road-mapping sessions, gathering feedback from stakeholders.
• Provide audit support and governance expertise, establishing an Executive Steering Committee.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication across teams.
• Manage the change management process for stakeholder adoption of new operating models.
• Guide the team in agile activities, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Manage and groom the project backlog, ensuring effective cross-team coordination.
• Maintain and report on relevant metrics to provide visibility into team performance.
