About The Position

The Sr Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for daily operation functions and tasks as well as special projects and assists the Global Trade Compliance Manager to streamline Global Trade processes and procedures; develop Global Trade Compliance modules and data collection database. This position reports to the Global Export Manager and is part of the Global Trade Compliance team and will be fully remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to analyze and interpret Global export/import regulations and maintain current knowledge of changes. You will develop and implement best practices across all departments to prevent trade disruptions and to develop lean approaches to the practices. Additionally, you will manage quarterly transfer pricing adjustment and be a transfer pricing champion, assist with Global Trade Compliance automation program, and assist Sr. Trade Compliance Specialist to monitor inbound US import shipments via our customs broker.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience.
  • A good understanding of US Customs and Import Laws and Regulations (CFR 19).
  • Knowledgeable of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • Experience providing existing Harmonized Tariff schedule numbers, FDA and USDA information to clear shipments through U.S. Customs.
  • Experience following Customs clearance procedures.
  • Manage all Partner Government Agencies to ensure Cepheid products are released in a timely manner.
  • Customs broker management and optimization.
