Job Title Trade Compliance Analyst As a Global Trade Analyst you are responsible for supporting CoorsTek’s import and export operations by ensuring adherence to global trade guidance, applying analytical insights and approach in your respective region. As an Analyst you work closely with internal and external customers, agents, and other business partners, utilizing internal systems and data to manage transactional activity, drive process efficiency, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business field is a plus but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in trade compliance; import and/or export compliance.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, and attention to detail.
  • Able to receive instruction, and interpret information to make decisions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and similar software tools and applications.
  • Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operations comply with g lobal trade policies and procedures for imports, exports, and related trade functions.
  • Review and release compliance holds in the ERP, including holds related to Restricted Party List and embargo country screening, export controls, HS classifications, and COO.
  • Work with customs brokers and agents to ensure compliance with global trade work instructions and complete, accurate declarations for imports and exports.
  • Perform and/or assist with export-related activities, including processing EUCPs, export control classifications, facility TCPs, and technology transfers.
  • Perform and/or assist with import-related activities, including; HS classifications, tariff (import duty) rates, COO and marking, and customs valuation.
  • Qualify products for FTAs and complete corresponding certificates and certifications.
  • Administer visit procedures for compliance with export controls and technology transfers.
  • Assist with the requirements of partner government agencies.
  • Create education and training tools and participate in actual training.
  • Escalate inquiries and issues to the Global Trade Regional Manager and/or Senior Global Trade Analyst.
