Check us out here: www.hidglobal.com and https://youtu.be/23km5H4K9Eo As our Trade Compliance Analyst, you’ll support HID’s success by: Demonstrating basic analysis, reporting, and administrative competencies while contributing to the objectives of the Global Trade team Supporting daily customs clearance activity performed by external customs brokers may be assigned. Soliciting, collecting and verifying certificates or origin and other required trade documentation from suppliers. Helping Identify duty drawback opportunities across business units and product lines. Coordinating with internal departments (e.g., Logistics, Finance, Purchasing) and external stakeholders to gather necessary documentation. Monitoring drawback filing status and follow up with CBP to ensure timely processing and refunds. Maintaining accurate records and reporting for audits and internal reviews. Supporting post-entry processes (PSC, protests, etc.) to correct or recover duties. Assisting in internal audits and CBP inquiries. Training internal stakeholders on import compliance best practices and documentation needs. Daily engagement with import operations. Communication with brokers, freight forwarders, and internal customers: buyers, planners, warehouse, logistics, etc. Identify and work on duty mitigation analyses such as drawbacks, PSC, and others. Outline a process for drawbacks. Communicate work status clearly to their manager and team. Strives to learn HID core values and exhibit these values in their daily work. Gain practical experience by supporting various compliance tasks and projects under the supervision of the Regional Trade Manager. Assist in gathering data, preparing reports, and performing basic analyses.
