About The Position

The Trade & Legal Admin is a member of the Foreign Trade Department working closely with the Manager to complete compliance objectives across all U.S. and international locations to support the company's business operations. Independently manages all day-to-day duties which may include customer screenings and technical data.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen, permanent resident or have protected status due to US export control laws.
  • Technical background preferred, including understanding manufacturing processes, technical drawings, materials, electronics, and units of measure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively with corporate and business personnel.
  • Bachelor's degree or associates' degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • 2 years' professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the department's daily duties are completed and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Disseminate guidance and direction on all customers and vendor screening.
  • Determine jurisdiction and monitor all markings for technical data.
  • Serve as interface and external spokesperson on trade compliance related matters.
  • Other items as assigned by Manager of Foreign Trade.
