About The Position

Tradewin is a leading international trade compliance consulting firm. We provide consultation and services that help companies become compliant with import and export laws and regulations, while minimizing duty payments wherever possible. Our expert team helps clients uncover opportunities to reduce costs, accelerate supply chain cycles, minimize duties, and strengthen both visibility and security. From pre-shipment planning to post-entry audits, we specialize in solving the challenges that arise before and after cargo moves. Our core services include HTS classification, duty drawback, reconciliation, compliance assessments, duty recovery, and C-TPAT/supply chain security implementation. At Tradewin, we don’t just ensure compliance—we empower smarter, faster, and more secure global trade. Most positions require a standard 8 AM – 5 PM schedule; however, there are opportunities to provide weekend and holiday coverage for specific functions with compensation incentives for working non-standard hours. This is an in office position. A Trade Analyst / Consultant can fulfill a variety of functions within our group, including: · Rendering Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications for imported product · Schedule B classification of exported products · Researching and interpreting Customs rulings for HTS classification determination · Effectively use reference sources, such as the HTSUS schedule and Explanatory Notes · Communicating with domestic and international clients’ offices · Building, and maintaining strong internal and external relationships · Other trade related activities as assigned

Requirements

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and proven interpersonal skills
  • Interest in obtaining a Brokerage License, if not already held.
  • Competent PC skills, including all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The applicant MUST be comfortable reviewing, analyzing, and manipulating data in excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to logically document and explain processes
  • Investigative and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Power BI, MS Access, or SharePoint experience desired.
