Requirements

• Must possess a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License and pass a tractor trailer driving, manual transmission, and load securement skills demonstration as prescribed by the Company.
• Must be willing to work extra and/or irregular hours as required.
• Strength and dexterity adequate to safely perform all the duties of this classification. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass physical ability test to demonstrate two techniques of lifting as prescribed by the Company.
• Must be at least a high school graduate or possess the GED equivalency.
• Must be particularly alert in observing hazards and avoiding accidents.
• Must be able to develop and plan work of limited scope.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision operates all Company vehicles for the primary purpose of transporting materials and supplies interstate and intrastate.
• Loads and unloads vehicles utilizing equipment as required.
• Responsible for maintaining all paperwork associated with this position.
• Performs other related and lesser skilled work as required.
• Directing and training assigned employees.
