Responsibilities: Ensure the safety and efficiency of our trucks and trailers for drivers and customers Perform DOT-compliant maintenance on all vehicles and equipment within our fleet Conduct preventative maintenance on all fleet vehicles and equipment Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair major systems including engines, transmissions, DEF systems, AC systems, and driver safety mitigation devices Utilize OEM diagnostic platforms for troubleshooting and repair, and participate in ongoing training opportunities Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment Qualifications: Pass pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license (CDL license is a plus) Strong communication and listening skills Basic computer skills Regular attendance for assigned shifts Positive team player Ability to understand and implement instructions, guidelines, and pertinent information Ability to move, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally Why Choose Western Express Inc? Requirements
