About The Position

The Tractor-Pan Operator at 3B DOZER SERVICE LLC is responsible for operating heavy tractor-drawn machinery to efficiently excavate, load, transport, and dump large volumes of dirt or soil. This role is crucial for grading construction or agricultural sites, ensuring that the land is prepared accurately and efficiently for subsequent development or cultivation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation of 3+ years.
Experience in operating tractor-drawn machinery for excavation, loading, and transportation.
Ability to read and interpret grading plans effectively.
Proficient understanding of earthmoving production techniques.
Skilled in handling complex machinery with hydraulic systems.
Capability to perform daily inspections and maintenance, including checking grease points.
Competence in maneuvering tractors connected to scraper pans under varying weather conditions.
Adaptability to work on large, uneven, or soft ground.

Responsibilities

Control levers and hydraulic systems to cut material, manage grade, and spread material effectively.
Maneuver tractors connected to scraper pans, utilizing hydraulic controls to lift, load, and deposit materials with precision.
Perform daily inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety, including checking grease points and other critical components.
Read and interpret grading plans to execute earthmoving tasks accurately according to project specifications.
Handle complex machinery safely and efficiently, adapting to various terrain conditions such as large, uneven, or soft ground.
Work under varying weather conditions, maintaining productivity and safety standards at all times.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met within designated timelines.
