The Tractor Operator is responsible for operating a variety of farm equipment including tractors, implements, and other machinery to support all stages of crop production. This role also includes supporting harvest activities, equipment maintenance, ground preparation, and general farm labor as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Operate tractors and implement tasks such as tilling, disking, mowing, planting, spraying, and harvesting.
Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure the machinery is safe and ready for use.
Maintain cleanliness and service logs for assigned equipment.
Safely transport equipment between fields and storage locations.
Follow operational and safety procedures during equipment use.
Assist with harvest operations, including equipment operation, field transport, and crop handling.
Perform ground labor tasks such as weed control, discing, mowing.
Participate in irrigation setup or repair work as assigned.
Assist in the construction or maintenance of fencing, roads, and drainage.
Maintain, clean, and repair farm vehicles, tools, and small engines.
Assist with routine maintenance of farm buildings, sheds, and storage areas.
Notify supervisors of any equipment issues or safety hazards.

Prior experience operating tractors and farm equipment is required.
Working knowledge of basic equipment mechanics and maintenance.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical labor.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work extended hours during peak seasons.
Valid driver’s license required; clean driving record preferred.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
