About The Position

The position involves operating tractors for sugarcane harvesting, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of loaded wagons, and navigating ramps for dumping. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Additionally, the position involves conducting daily visual and mechanical inspections of equipment and performing other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• 1+ year of farm equipment operating experience, preferred.
• Regular Class 'E' Driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual preferred (Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Operates farm-type tractors with or without towed equipment to perform tasks related to harvesting sugarcane.
• Proven capability to operate tractors with loaded wagons efficiently and safely.
• Safely loading wagons alongside harvesters and navigating ramps for dumping.
• Skilled in maneuvering tractors to ensure safety in traffic.
• Adheres strictly to all safety rules, regulations, or procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform basic daily inspections on equipment, both visual and mechanical checks.
• Performs other related projects and assignments as business dictates.
