About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Experienced Tractor Driver with proven Bush Hog (rotary cutter) experience to operate agricultural and land-maintenance equipment safely and efficiently. This role involves mowing, clearing, and maintaining right-of-ways, and other rural or commercial properties while ensuring equipment is properly maintained and safety standards are followed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating tractors with Bush Hog or similar rotary cutters
• Strong knowledge of tractor controls, attachments, and safe operating techniques
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience working on uneven terrain and in rural or outdoor environments
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, if applicable)
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and driving record check.
• Possess a valid email address for communication.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors equipped with Bush Hog / rotary cutters to mow grass, brush, weeds, and light saplings
• Perform land clearing, field maintenance, and general mowing operations
• Inspect equipment before and after use and perform routine maintenance (greasing, fluid checks, blade inspection, etc.)
• Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and equipment damage
• Identify and avoid hazards such as rocks, wire, stumps, and uneven terrain
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding job progress and equipment needs
• Assist with other equipment or property maintenance tasks as needed
