About The Position

SEBRING INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY This race track located in Sebring, Florida, is America’s oldest road racing track, with over six decades of storied history. It hosts the historic Twelve Hours of Sebring each year on the third Saturday of March on the 3.74-mile road course. The Twelve Hours of Sebring is one of the four endurance races on the IMSA schedule. Reviewed Date: March 4, 2021 SUMMARY Responsible for helping with track maintenance during the race event.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training in customer service and sales; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.
  • Position is safety sensitive so it participates in the corporate Substance Abuse Program (SAP).
  • The employee is regularly required to stand and walk; and talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balancing; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25-50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tractors, trucks, sweepers and other equipment as needed.
  • May need to be able to manually use shovels, brooms, etc.
  • May need to manually move tires and tire packs to appropriate locations on the track.
  • Keep equipment ready to be used at a moments’ notice
