Will operate maintenance equipment and machinery ensuring adherence to all safety regulations. Will inspect and clean all related equipment and report maintenance and safety issues to Track Superintendent. Promotes outstanding horsemen relations. Performs all other duties as assigned. Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and must meet the requirements of company Motor Vehicle Record Policy.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland Racing Commission required of all Racing Services employees.
Minimum of One (1) years’ experience operating maintenance vehicles.
Must be able to lift Fifty (50) pounds and work in all weather, including extreme conditions.
Must be able and willing to climb ladders and scaffolding.
Must be able to walk, sit, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Experience with small hand tools preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
