About The Position

The Track Loader Operator is responsible for operating track loader equipment to move, load, and grade materials on heavy civil construction job sites. This role supports earthwork, site preparation, and material handling activities while maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating track loaders or similar heavy equipment
• Ability to read grades, stakes, and job site plans
• Strong awareness of job site safety practices
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
• Ability to climb on and off equipment
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

• Experience in heavy civil, earthwork, or utility construction preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate track loaders to move dirt, rock, aggregate, and construction materials
• Perform grading, backfilling, and site leveling activities
• Load trucks and assist with material placement
• Work closely with foremen, laborers, and equipment operators to support crew productivity
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Maintain a safe work environment by following company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Operate attachments as needed (buckets, forks, grading attachments, etc.)
