  • Use hand tools and small machines for track renewal.
  • Operate track renewal equipment as needed.
  • Stand, lift, and squat for extended periods, with the ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the work site and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Ability to perform physical work outdoors in all types of weather.
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations, performing tasks in accordance with those rules.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • CDL license or the ability to obtain one (CPKC will assist with costs).
