About The Position

The position is for a Junior Varsity Track & Field Coach at Livermore High School. The coach will be responsible for leading and developing the JV track and field team, ensuring that athletes are trained effectively and safely. The role includes planning practices, organizing meets, and fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching track and field or a related sport.
• Strong knowledge of track and field techniques and strategies.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous coaching experience at the high school level.
• Certification in first aid and CPR.
• Experience in sports management or administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Junior Varsity Track & Field team.
• Plan and conduct effective training sessions.
• Organize and manage track meets and competitions.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration.

Benefits
