The TRACK Associate role at Valero involves setting up and maintaining user profiles within the TRACK System, ensuring security protocols are followed. The position is responsible for managing contractor schedules, verifying pay rates, and handling timesheet entries. This role also includes invoice verification and assisting with system upgrades, all while adhering to established procedures.

  • Set up new user profiles and maintain security for the TRACK System.
  • Ensure badges are appropriately set up and activated.
  • Assist with assigning schedules and pay formulas to contract employees in TRACK.
  • Verify accurate pay rates for contractors.
  • Generate contractor workforce schedules, including shifts and days onsite.
  • Allocate billable hours for contractors to charge-to codes based on standards.
  • Download information into SAP after allocations are approved.
  • Review timesheets and work schedules, entering time worked into the TRACK system.
  • Verify invoices against the TRACK System and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with various reports for contractors and management.
  • Assist with system upgrades.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3 years of experience in accounts payable, refinery maintenance, or capital expenditure administration required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office database and spreadsheet applications (Access and Excel) required.
  • Able and willing to work on-site at the Valero Texas City Refinery required.
  • Eligibility to obtain a TWIC card is required.
  • Bachelor's or higher level degree preferred.
  • Experience using TRACK System preferred.
