About The Position

Sidwell Friends School is seeking track and field assistant coaches for both the winter and spring track seasons in the 2025-256 school year. The Assistant Coach position will be responsible for assisting the head coach in organizing the Track and Field program. Other responsibilities include promoting and creating a positive team culture, developing fundamental skills of the game, and enthusiastically participating in running practices as support for the head coach. It is expected that Coaches will maintain a high standard of integrity in all aspects of team management, foster a culture that promotes the Quaker values of the school and academic experience of the student, and intentionally integrate school core values as the framework from which to coach. A thoughtful approach and a desire to constantly improve and innovative thinking will be essential to success in this role.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year of relevant track and field coaching experience at the high school, club and/or college level.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience coaching at the varsity level.
• Experience with jumps (High jump, Long Jump, and Triple Jump).

Benefits
