About The Position

This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis and at the unit level. The role is responsible for supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care in the following areas: All Critical Care CCU/ICU, ER, NICU, CVICU PICU, MICU, Radiology, Dialysis, PACU, CVOR, Labor and Delivery, OR, Cardiac Cath Lab, and GI/Endo. This position will require traveling overnight or temporarily relocating to support a facility or facilities in a market as needed. This role will require assignment to various hospitals or markets as needed.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in critical care nursing.
• Strong assessment and planning skills.
• Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to staff.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in critical care nursing (CCRN) preferred.
• Experience in multiple clinical areas mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
• Ensuring competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
• Providing care in various critical care areas including CCU/ICU, ER, NICU, CVICU, PICU, MICU, Radiology, Dialysis, PACU, CVOR, Labor and Delivery, OR, Cardiac Cath Lab, and GI/Endo.
