About The Position

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to join our nursing team. This position is essential in providing care and support to patients in a behavioral health setting. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work on an as-needed basis, with a minimum commitment of two shifts per month. Shifts are available in both the AM and PM, allowing for a variety of scheduling options.

Requirements

• Must have a valid certification as a Behavioral Health Technician or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including AM and PM shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with patients in a behavioral health environment.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in a behavioral health setting.
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patient behavior and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Participate in treatment planning and implementation of care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
