UNM-Valencia is accepting applications for a temporary part-time faculty member to teach Geology courses at the 1000-2000 college level in the Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and/or Spring 2027 semester(s). Positions are contingent upon the need of each semester as determined by student enrollment levels and current course offerings. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of The University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit courses to high schools in Valencia and Socorro Counties.
