This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are seeking a dynamic Manager of Manufacturing Ops & Assembly to oversee our aerospace component production processes. This pivotal role will lead teams in achieving operational excellence while collaborating with cross-functional departments to continuously enhance manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, adept at resource management, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Position Specific Details: This position will require shift flexibility to align with changes in business need. Shift schedules are outlined below: Shift: Monday – Friday (6am – 2:30pm), Location: Space Coast, FL, Relocation: Available Team Focus & Domain Expertise: As part of a hardworking team of shift leads, technicians and engineers, you will help build human-rated orbital launch vehicles. Our team is responsible for all Thermal Protection Systems (TPS) for New Glenn stage one. In this role, supported by your senior manager, you will directly (solid-line) manage and supervise shift leads and technicians and coordinate (dotted-line) additional teammates such as manufacturing engineers, quality personnel, production controllers, schedulers, etc. You will have ultimate and full responsibility for successfully orchestrating your crew and manufacturing / integrating TPS on New Glenn stage one.
