One Family.  Purpose Statement The Maintenance Owner is the PM systems owner for their respective line(s). Responsible for eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses. The Maintenance Owner is responsible for building capability in Operating Teams and Equipment Owners to deliver overall results supporting the Compelling Business Driver (CBD).

Requirements

  • Computer literacy
  • Good leadership skills and credibility with associates
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to assist in the training on proper equipment and process procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of all types of hand and power tools.
  • Understanding of Electrical concepts and PLC Concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial maintenance certificate preferred
  • CMMS experience
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Owns the PM systems for their respective line(s) focusing on Defect Handling and Breakdown Elimination, and later Maintenance Planning & Scheduling & Continuous Improvements. Applying the standards set forth by the plant PM system owners such as but not limited visual controls, storeroom management, equipment criticality, and lubrication management.
  • Supports and leads portions of loss-elimination planning
  • Support and assist/cover other TPM owners when absent or help needed
  • Drives breakthrough results in Planned and Unplanned Downtime, and owns:
  • Maintenance & Repair costs for the line
  • % Planned Maintenance & % PM’s complete
  • Breakdown reduction
  • Coaches and develops Shift Teams by serving as a technical coach / resource.
  • Actively participates in trio Daily Line Meetings and execution of the daily action plan.
