The Total Performance Management (TPM) Lead will play a crucial role in advancing our TPM initiatives by actively engaging in various pillar activities. This position is designed to coordinate and support the development of factory documentation and standards, facilitate training, and enhance the capabilities of factory personnel. The TPM Lead will apply TPM pillar tools to effectively reduce operational losses and improve overall efficiency within the manufacturing environment. In this role, the TPM Lead will analyze workflow, cycle times, and process bottlenecks to initiate improvement projects that enhance productivity. The individual will also be responsible for analyzing process data related to manufacturing labor, materials, and process times to validate data models. A key responsibility will be to coordinate the creation of documentation and standards that will be utilized by production, maintenance, and support departments. This includes initiatives aimed at improving operator skills for equipment operation and maintenance, ultimately driving towards zero breakdowns and reducing total maintenance costs through effective and reliable operations. The TPM Lead will identify losses within the production process, prioritize improvements, and develop problem-solving tools to implement necessary changes. This role will also focus on enhancing the skills of all employees, improving training efficiency, and fostering an effective organizational structure and team dynamics. Safety awareness will be a priority, alongside effective planning to meet customer needs and business objectives. The TPM Lead will produce quality documentation that adheres to applicable standards and is tailored to its intended audience. Additionally, the TPM Lead will support the preparation of training materials, such as standard operating procedures, one-point lessons, presentations, and worksheets, in collaboration with subject matter experts. Coordination of the technical training program with department leaders and supervisors will be essential, utilizing a skills matrix methodology to determine course content aligned with objectives. The TPM Lead will co-facilitate training sessions, maintain appropriate records of training activities, and provide administrative support for TPM initiatives, including visual tools and templates for natural work teams and pillar leaders. The role will also involve driving projects aimed at increasing productivity, improving quality, reducing waste, and supporting cost-saving initiatives, all while utilizing analytical skills to evaluate data and create detailed reports and presentations.
