About The Position

Are you ready to own a production line and build capability that lasts? If you’re eager for your first formal step into people management and you love turning strategy into sustained on-the-floor results, step into this TPM & Continuous Improvement Line Leader role. You’ll steer a critical bakery line to deliver today’s targets—and make sure those wins stick for the long term by growing technical mastery across your team. Your mission Hit the targets that matter. Break site objectives into actionable line and unit goals spanning safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale. Ensure every teammate knows what success looks like. Engineer reliability. Keep assets at basic conditions and ensure AM/PM standards are executed on dedicated equipment (AM Step 4, PM Step 3; both break-down and planned maintenance). Eliminate losses. Apply TPM and Six Sigma methods with capability through AM Steps 5–6 and PM Step 3 to lock in performance. Grow people. Recruit, retain, develop, and succession-plan while identifying high-potential talent; influence effectively in a union environment and resolve tough interpersonal situations with tact. Own the business. Build the budget, manage costs, and uphold governance and compliance.

Requirements

  • Leadership of line teams and clear communication—written and verbal—with strong attention to detail.
  • Hands-on maintenance discipline: Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 and Progressive/Planned Maintenance (PM) Step 3 on line equipment.
  • Track record using TPM and Six Sigma to stabilize processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Confidence working within a unionized environment while building trust and momentum.
