Cavender Toyota, the 2nd largest Toyota dealership in America and the largest in the Gulf States, is seeking an experienced Master Diagnostic Toyota Technician to join our high-volume, high-performance service team. Requirements
- Previous experience as a Toyota Service Technician required
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug screen
- Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
Nice To Haves
- Master or Expert-level Toyota Technician experience preferred
- ASE and/or Toyota certifications strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs in accordance with Toyota and dealership standards
- Diagnose complex engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems
- Utilize Toyota diagnostic tools, scan tools, and special service equipment
- Test-drive vehicles and validate repair accuracy
- Communicate findings and repair needs clearly with Service Advisors
- Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs
- Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Accurately document all repair and diagnostic work
- Support shop efficiency and mentor junior technicians as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
